San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium Names Sabra Matovsky as its New CEO

San Francisco, CA – After an exhaustive national search, the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Clinic Consortium (SFCCC) is proud to announce Sabra Matovsky as its new Chief Executive Officer.  Matovsky takes the helm of the 35 year-old organization, created to pool the collective resources of 14 San Francisco health centers thereby leveraging resources for the patients they serve to local, state and national policy makers.    “We are very pleased to tap Sabra Matovsky’s exceptional leadership capabilities and financial acumen to help us further our mission in supporting the underserved” said David Knego, Chairman of the SFCC Board.  “We are excited about the SFCCC’s future direction under her leadership and we are looking forward to the fresh perspective she will bring.”  UHC Solutions, of Portland, Oregon served as the recruitment firm that identified and recruited Ms. Matovsky to the organization.

SFCCC works to support its member health centers in four core areas, each with distinct programs: access to care, workforce development, maximization of valuable resources and health policy.  While SFCCC partner health clinics focus on patient care and preserving the well-being of the communities they serve, SFCCC promotes the health of the health centers – strategically advising them of changing healthcare environment – so that their long-standing tradition of community care is preserved.

Matovsky brings more than 25 years of health care experience in California to her new role.  Most recently, she served as the Executive Vice President of Integrated Health Partners (IHP), a premier clinically integrated network in Southern California and a subsidiary of Health Center Partners.  Under her leadership, IHP’s health centers achieved top HEDIS marks in the State of California for their 85,000 members.    Before joining IHP, Matovsky was the Market Leader for Molina Health Care in San Diego for 6 years, during which Molina became the fastest growing Medi-Cal plan in the county.  Matovsky also served as the Administrator of Care1st Health Plan for 2 years and as the Director of Contracting for 10 years with the Council of Community Clinics, the predecessor of Health Center partners.   Matovsky has extensive experience working with community health centers and is frequently tapped by the California Primary Care Association (CPCA) to share her thoughts and experience.

Matovsky will begin her new role as Chief Executive Officer for San Francisco Community Clinic Consortium on October 16, 2017
