Frequently Asked Questions

What do we do?

We’re healthcare recruitment specialists. We work closely with Federally Qualified Healthcare Centers and Community Healthcare Centers around the country to find the right openings for providers.

This is all we do and we’re good at it.

This is free for the candidates. The organization that UHC Solutions partner with will always pay the service fees. You pay nothing to have UHC Solutions to represent you in your job search. Not only will we represent you, we will also give you resume tips and brief you before your interview so you know what you’re going into.

The interview process differs depending on organization you’re interviewing with but in general it’s about 3-4 weeks.

We recommend starting 24-18 months out from graduation. That doesn’t necessarily mean looking for a job, most FQHCs won’t know their needs that far out but just sending us a quick email is the first step in that process.

If you are closer to graduation than that, then today is the best day to reach out to one of our recruiters.

Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) offer many more resources for new grads that the private practices cannot. Some offer loan repayment assistance alongside PSLF and NHSC.

You will also have a stable schedule that won’t force you to be on call 24/7 so you can have a life outside of work.

Not to mention you will be giving back to your community in the most profound way; helping those who are underserved.

FQHCs will offer you a stable place to grow your career from.

We have a partnership with Syd Chary, Esq., New York Immigration Attorney to help candidates going through the process of F1, J1, and other applicable visa statuses to H1B and Permanent Residency.
